Off grid cooker

What the World needs

Newly invented, off-grid solar grill

This is an amazing invention.  Adding the ability to prepare food, even at night.

Looking forward to this being available to everyone.

Example of what we could do

Taking a look at one example, there are 2 companies that should be working together.

One that creates hemp based food and  the other that provides hemp based bio-plastic packaging.

What is missing is these 2 companies working together to provide a complete, sustainable, product to the consumers.

What needs to be done, is reach out to these companies, and be a bridge to providing that alternative.

Environmental Road Map?

Environmentally challenged, from Oil based to Bio based

How do we go from all this dependence on Oil to a safer world?

We have to face the fact that fossil based products form the bases for our society.  Replacing them will need a consented effort, one that identifies each area, determines the alternative, builds the products, and integrates the industries.

Currently, we have a sporadic process in place.  There are Governments creating a Tax base (eg, Carbon Tax), with no clear route to replacing the old fossil products with newer bio/renewable products.

What I tried was to identify some of the active companies that are providing or researching alternatives.

What we need to do is create a network that can define a clear path, and set up organizations and companies to replace each and every product that has it's roots in fossils.

Ours is the generation that needs to focus on this.  Quit the fear mongering and begin to work in earnest towards a bio-diverse environment and economy.

What I am asking, is for everyone who wants this, to add their ideas and start integrating our future.

What is bio-plastic

As an alternative to Oil based packaging, products and items, other forms of plastics are available and and have less of an impact on our environment.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bioplastic

What we can do is work with companies already involved in changing to a more environmental and substantial product offerings and help them include better packing, and other uses of non-petroleum in their delivery of their products.

Concerned for the Environment

Although there is a general agreement that our fossil fuel based society has an undesirable impact on our environment, the migration to more Earth Friendly alternatives has been fraught with ineptness.

It is a long road to replace Oil, the current practices around the world have very little impact on Oil uses...what is needed is a concerted effort that includes the impacts on economies and social priorities and a defined road map.

What we will endeavor to post in here is research and findings on companies that have started the work on changing.

The parts of the move need to work together.  For example, it is great that there is so much movement into healthy, organic foods, but the packaging of those foods still, for the most part, are based on Oil base plastics, long growth woods products and harmful labeling inks.

So why would we not integrate the organic food industries with the bio-plastic and alternative fiber/inks industry?

Why would short term fibers (Hemp for example) not be used by the organic food industries for packaging and product display?

We need to form a consorted effort, have realistic time-frames and measurable results to migrate from one source of Energy/raw resources to the next.

The exchange of ideas that I am looking for, is who else is working, or would like to work, to improve the effectiveness in moving to a better way of living.

Here are some companies that I have been looking into:

What to do next...start by researching these corporations, find out what we can about each one and get involved in the exchange of information and ideas.
